FAQ
What is the process for working with you?
Once you decide that I'm the photographer for you, you'll need to sign and complete my photography contract and submit a 50% retainer. Then, you're officially on my calendar!
How long until I receive my photos?
Most galleries are delivered in three weeks. The turnaround timeline will be included in our signed contract! I share sneak peeks on social media in the weeks following our session, so keep an eye out!
What locations do you shoot at?
I love shooting outside!! I'm the photographer that will gladly hike to capture your glorious mountaintop session. I'm also happy to shoot at local wineries, families' backyards, and anywhere else that is near and dear to your heart! I am willing and able to travel for an additional fee.
Will there be a second shooter?
If you think your session would benefit from a second shooter, I will be glad to bring one! Please mention your desire for a second shooter in your inquiry form.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
If I am available, you may extend the session for my hourly rate, designated in the signed contract.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am a tried and true Nikon shooter! I shoot with two D750s and a variety of lenses.
What do you do in the event of bad weather?
During Virginia's wetter months, we will schedule a back-up session date in the event of rain! Should the forecast not be looking in our favor, I will make a call no earlier than 24 hours in advance, up until an hour before you need to get ready (as you are able to be flexible)!
