I generally am not very comfortable getting my picture taken but really wanted a special session with my daughter for her first birthday. Hayley did a wonderful job of directing the shoot so that we both felt comfortable and my little one was able to ‘do her thing’ and get nice individual shots in!

Hayley is professional yet personable and makes being in front of a camera feel so fun and somehow natural. She has a calming presence, is great at directing awkward hands (or awkward postures in general), and knows exactly how to capture you in your best light (and angle). Hayley has photographed us twice now and she always manages to get gorgeous photos, even when it doesn’t feel like we did anything picture-worthy, or seem like ideal conditions, it’s literally magic. In looking through the album on both occasions I was surprised by some of the images she was able to capture because I didn’t even remember those moments (that’s how quick she is)! The anticipation of waiting for the delivered album was fun because Hayley sent us sneak peeks a few days after, but then we didn’t even have to wait that long for the full album which was incredible. I can’t recommend Hayley enough and can’t wait to get in front of her camera again knowing that I’m in good hands.
